Captivity: Revisiting the River Kwai

Sally Grumbridge is a visual artist who specialises in oil painting and mixed media and is also a printmaker. She is based in West London. Her work encompasses cultural, historical and personal themes. Constantly experimenting with techniques and materials, her work embodies her passions and interests. Examples can be viewed on the Portfolio pages.

The exhibition Captivity: Revisiting the River Kwai, featuring new work for the series and which was planned for September 2020, will now take place from 16th March to 6th April 2021 at One Paved Court, Richmond, Surrey TW9 1LZ

The paintings and original prints on this site are for sale (unless they are marked sold) and a price list is available on request. Apart from a few of the paintings in the series Revisiting the River Kwai, where high quality limited edition reproductions (giclée prints) are available, all the work is original.
