Susan Warren, a print maker originally from the USA, started with etching and now creates collagraphs and dry point intaglio prints. She enjoys finding and using materials which can be added to a cardboard or plastic plate to build an image. Glue, textured paper, carborundum, silk aquatint, peeled card, dry point, gesso and viscosity inking are some of the media she uses. This allows her to work without using harmful chemicals.
