As a mixed-media artist, Emily's work emerges from layers of collage, paint, illustration and natural elements. Currently, she is focusing on pure printmaking to create engaging, chromatic, human images from both the exterior and interior of her experience. Her pallet reflects the subdued British light. She focuses on colour line and form to achieve a clear mood in her depictions of nature, using the techniques of collagraph and lino cut. She has had three pictures in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, and exhibited with Long & Ryle Gallery in Pimlico. She has also been part of a series of group exhibitions at The Tabernacle in Notting Hill. Recently she finished a commission portrait of an English Bulldog residing in Connecticut.
